TNARS Counsellor Bio's
Cogi Smith - has been with the Thompson Nicola Assessment & Resource Service since May 1994. She entered the counselling field in 1989 after spending several years as a homemaker for her husband and three daughters. Cogi has a degree in Social Work. Certificates from Therapy training institute such as the Northwest Satir Institute, Yaletown Narrative Marriage Therapy Centre and diplomas from The Family Therapy Centre plus numerous training courses in cognitive behavioral therapies and addictions make-up Cogi's professional background. She has experience dealing with a variety of issues, working with children, teens, and adults, as individuals, couples or family groupings.
Kym Daley-is presently completing her Masters degree in counselling psychology at City University in Vancouver. She has a Bachelors Degree majoring in Anthropology and minoring in Women's Studies. She is also presently enrolled in the Family Therapy Diploma Program in Kamloops. Kym is currently doing internships at the Correctional facility in Kamloops and Family Therapy Center. Kym is passionate about working collaboratively with people in their efforts to live their lives to their fullest potential and to helping families. Kym brings a strong background in leadership to the process of personal change and growth.
